Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida

Dear Friends,

Junior Achievement is passionate people inspiring young students to learn the economics of life. In partnership with local businesses and educators, JA brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential.

Welcome to the Junior Achievement website. If you are a person who believes in a positive future for our youth; if you are a person passionate about education, I challenge you to find your personal avenue in working with Junior Achievement. In Charlotte, Collier and Lee counties, we will reach over 8,000 young people this coming year.

The staff at Junior Achievement is currently recruiting and training more than 300 volunteers to teach the JA programs in our public and private schools, in after-school programs and on done-in-a-day projects. Our lessons are turn-key with hands-on activities for all students in grades K – 12. Please consider joining us. As a volunteer consultant, your life will be changed in so many positive ways.

To all of you educators, please call us if you would like financial literacy included in your daily curriculum. Our professional volunteers add a unique dimension that brings relevancy and excitement to your instructional lessons. And yes! all JA lessons are correlated to the Florida Sunshine State Standards (and related FCAT testing).

To accomplish our mission, we do need financial supporters. Our deepest appreciation is extended to our current funders. Without them, our outreach would be non-existent. Please consider becoming a part of this elite group through your corporate and personal donations. I also invite you to attend our annual Business Leadership Hall of Fame events to learn more about Junior Achievement and to meet many of the students we teach. You will learn first hand how your dollars create brighter futures for our youth.

Will you help us reach 8,000 students in southwest Florida this year?

Together we can make a difference!
Sincerely,
Victoria Stephan
