A new chapter in our history takes place with Anne Frazier taking over as our new president and CEO. "It is so exciting to take the reins at Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida at this point in history," says Frazier. "The mission of providing young people with lessons in economics, free enterprise and financial literacy is more relevant than ever. The organization is at the top of its game, reaching more than 11,000 students in Southwest Florida with its programs, yet there is so much potential for further growth. I am honored to join this amazing team and know we'll reach some exciting goals together."
Frazier brings more than 12 years of experience in non-profit leadership to the position. Prior to joining JA, she served as Executive Director of Drug Free Collier. Before moving to Southwest Florida and joining Drug Free Collier, she worked 6 years for the Boys & Girls Clubs, first as Area Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martinsville & Henry County and then as Chief Professional Officer of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Blue Ridge in Martinsville, VA. She began her nonprofit career as Assistant Director/Director of Exhibitions for Piedmont Arts Association in Martinsville, where she worked from January 1999 to September 2004. Frazier is a graduate from the Growing Associates in Naples (GAIN) Program of the Leadership Collier Foundation, and is currently in the Foundation's Leadership Collier Program, Class of 2012.
We are looking forward to an exciting new year with Anne at the helm.
